i am on the phone with cingular trying to get a new cell phone. you would think, wouldn't you, that with the relatively large sum of cash that i am desiring to drop in their lap, that they would be a bit, shall we say, motivated, to help me.

i have been on the phone with these mechanical voices for about an hour now, and have been disconnected and re-routed and asked politely to wait more times than i care to count. at the moment, my wait time is less than 10 minutes.

did i mention the part about the screaming?
