so it is pi day (that is, 3.14, for those of you used to writing the date as 3/14. if we write it that way i guess i could wish you a happy three-fourteenths day)

Well I guess it's the 414th anniversary of the real pi day which occurred back in 1592? Or do you round up and make it 1593, in which case it's only the 413th anniversary?
